Best of Second Life Live

Whoa, looks like I have created quite a bit of a flutter in the live music sphere of SL than I thought I possibly could Here is my explanation of my motives behind the contest....feel free to ask me if you have anything else you need cleared up

1. We are not going to be differentiating by
styles for a reason - people already go to live music concerts of
genres they like. There is nothing to make them sample or listen
closely to someone of a genre they might not care for. This will make
people listen to a blend of styles and genres and hopefully broaden a
few horizons

2. We are going to have two permanent judges throughout the contest and
one rotating judge position to bring a fresh perspective - one of our
permanent judges is Sir Brennen, a DJ/Performance Hall owner. We are
still looking for a second permanent judge. Some of our rotating judges
will be Doubledown and Prince Sonoda (of the SL Enquirer).

We are pleased to announce that we have now partnered with AvaStar, the leading tabloid for Second Life citizens in our efforts to promote the live musicians of Second Life via our contest's spotlight. AvaStar's sponsorship will give us enough reach in-world to attract as many live musicians as possible into our contest.
